Bringing Spouse or Children
Since the company is NOT fully covering family members, the employee is the personal sponsor. Be ready to answer questions about BOTH yourself and your family.

🆕 First-Time Travelers (add)

- ☐Be ready with the hotel name, return date, and at least 2–3 activities
💍 Bringing Spouse (add)
- ☐PSA Marriage Certificate
- ☐Notarized Affidavit of Support (covering spouse's expenses)
- ☐Spouse's own: passport, Korean visa, round-trip ticket, hotel booking
🧒 Bringing Children (add)
- ☐PSA Birth Certificate of child
- ☐DSWD Travel Clearance (if not traveling with BOTH parents)
- ☐Affidavit of Support and Consent from absent parent (notarized)
- ☐Child's: passport, Korean visa, round-trip ticket
✅ Quick Reminders for the Airport
- ✔Arrive 3 hours before your flight. NAIA queues are unpredictable.
- ✔Carry PRINTED documents. Officers will ask you to hand things over.
- ✔Keep your folder organized. Don't dig through your bag at the counter.
- ✔Answer SHORT and DIRECT. Don't overshare or volunteer extra info.
- ✔Stay calm at secondary inspection — it is NOT automatic offloading.
- ✔If you blank out: your company letter + COE answer almost everything.
- ✔Know your hotel name and your return date. That's the bare minimum.
❌ What NOT to Say
- ✗"I don't know where we're staying; my company arranged it."
- ✗"I'm not sure when I'm coming back."
- ✗"I might look for work or side gigs while I'm there."
- ✗"My friend/someone I met online is sponsoring me. (for spouses/dependents)"
- ✗"I don't know the itinerary, we'll just figure it out."
- ✗"I don't know who paid for my ticket."
