Since the company is NOT fully covering family members, the employee is the personal sponsor. Be ready to answer questions about BOTH yourself and your family.

โœ… Quick Reminders for the Airport

  • โœ”Arrive 3 hours before your flight. NAIA queues are unpredictable.
  • โœ”Carry PRINTED documents. Officers will ask you to hand things over.
  • โœ”Keep your folder organized. Don't dig through your bag at the counter.
  • โœ”Answer SHORT and DIRECT. Don't overshare or volunteer extra info.
  • โœ”Stay calm at secondary inspection โ€” it is NOT automatic offloading.
  • โœ”If you blank out: your company letter + COE answer almost everything.
  • โœ”Know your hotel name and your return date. That's the bare minimum.

  • โœ—"I don't know where we're staying; my company arranged it."
  • โœ—"I'm not sure when I'm coming back."
  • โœ—"I might look for work or side gigs while I'm there."
  • โœ—"My friend/someone I met online is sponsoring me. (for spouses/dependents)"
  • โœ—"I don't know the itinerary, we'll just figure it out."
  • โœ—"I don't know who paid for my ticket."
